Our morning walk in the Boy Scout Woods sanctuary on High Island produced a Worm-eating Warbler tucking into a juicy insect, before promptly disappearing thereafter; and an Ovenbird prowled through the leaf litter unobtrusively before it too vanished into "the ether". The male Black-throated Green-Warbler however played fair and gave its buzzy song just a meter or so away...(photo)
