The Rarest of them all...ARGENTINA (8 March)


After yesterdays Least Seedsnipe, the best was to come the following day. A stomp around Garibaldi Pass, by making our own path to get up there produced a fantastic "covey" of 4 White-bellied Seedsnipes, the final member of this strange shorebird family that I had not seen. We spent a quality 30 minutes with them while they fed in typical seedsnipe fashion, amongst the bright green cushion plants...

Next up...the ANTARCTIC PENINSULA!
