Boy Scout Blue-headed (HAS Boy Scout Woods, High Island, Texas): 4 April 2010


Thought I'd try out Iain's new camera today (Canon 7D), seeing as my own ("only" a Canon 50D) has frustratingly seized up. Feeling naked while it is in for repair, I tried out his bright shiny new 7D, to try and alleviate this "nakedness". Frankly bad news as I am completely blown away by this neat bit of kit, and want one badly!

This was a Blue-headed Vireo-my first test subject-that was singing from the mulberry tree that overhangs the grandstand at Boy Scout Woods.

    I am in trouble now, especially as my Canon 50D is now out of action, these are hard times.
